registerFamilies with school-aged children (ages 7-12) are invited for a morning of upcycle crafting! This program is supported through the City of Victoria's My Great Neighbourhood. Guardians must be present for the entirety of the workshop. Join us every last Saturday for different instructors and crafts with repurposed supplies!
ABOUT THIS MONTH’S CRAFT: Whether it comes to making a pie lattice or darning a sock, weaving is something that can play a larger part in our lives than we’re letting it. This workshop will teach participants how to make a loom from simple materials we all have lying around, and how to weave something from almost nothing.

APRIL OPEN STUDIO TOUR
rsvpJoin our creative building for another Open Studio Tour — a special look into the 80+ artist studios and 4 art galleries + tool library + video/audio studio + multiple art openings from The Vault, Ministry of Casual Living, and Rockslide Gallery. SUPPLY will have extended hours and offer a free crafting table on the base floor. 10% of all door proceeds support our organization.

GRANNY SQUARE PILLOWS
registerA beginner-friendly crochet course where students will learn to crochet Granny Squares and join them into a pillowcase led by Anna of @slinky_studio with all reclaimed materials. Appropriate for ages 16+.

ABOUT THIS MONTH’S CRAFT: Learn the basics of creating a series of prints by creating your own “plate” with recycled styrofoam that you will etch into to create simple illustrations that can then be inked infinitely onto upcycled paper. Kids will walk away with multiple prints that make great gifts for friends and family.

ABOUT THIS MONTH’S CRAFT: This workshop shows kids how to move beyond filling in and outlining when using painting. Using a variety of old and upcycled brushes and scrapers, we will create fun and experimental paintings that will achieve textures such as fur, grass, clouds, and even wind!
