BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SUPPLY is supported by a generous and talented group of individuals that lend their skills and abilities to serve our nonprofit mission to create a more sustainable, creative, and inclusive Victoria.
  • Midhat Malik, Chair

    She/her

Hi! I’m Midhat and I am honored to lead as Chairperson of SUPPLY Victoria’s fabulous board of directors. I hold an MBA in Sustainable Innovation, have supported environmental causes for 17+ years, and am an amateur crafting enthusiast driven to create, repair, reimagine and upcycle items I have access to. I have a special interest in the sustainability and prosperity of our organization because I believe in the important role that SUPPLY Victoria can play in a future world with less waste. As such, I am keen to progress action items in the Fundraising and Governance committees to support the development of a strong foundation in the early years of our thriving non-profit. I am looking forward to working with the bright minds on this page to craft a better tomorrow.

I have previously served on the boards of the Island Sexual Health Society and the Victoria Bar Association, and helps coordinate the AccessBC campaign. My current favourite crafting endeavour is finding creative and beautiful ways to mend clothing.

I am the Community Development Manager at the Oaklands Community Association working on developing programs and projects that increase community resiliency and sustainability. I am a hobby artist with a passion to knock down accessibility barriers to resources enabling more people to get involved in what they want to do, whether that’s art, or environmental stewardship, or both!

  • Sarah Fallavollita

    She/her

I am a long time lover of sustainability and have a background in sustainable clothing & textiles as well as a BBA specializing in Sustainability. Have spent time volunteering for a few different organizations focusing on sustainability within the fashion industry and have worked in several small Canadian slow fashion companies including Poppy Barley and SALT Shop here in Victoria. I like to sew and mend with much of my inspiration coming from upcycling and waste reduction concepts. I believe waste reduction as well as production/consumption as a whole are hugely important issues that need to be addressed with the reality of climate disaster at our doorstep. I'm honored to work with SUPPLY as a General Board member on several of our committees, working towards making a better community and planet for us all!

  • Noah Gilroy

territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ, Songhees and Esquimalt nations. I love to explore new experimental techniques to push the boundaries of
what is possible on a canvas of thread. I work exclusively with biodegradable or recycled materials to minimize environmental impact.
