BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEET OUR VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
-
Midhat Malik, Chair
She/her
Hi! I’m Midhat and I am honored to lead as Chairperson of SUPPLY Victoria’s fabulous board of directors. I hold an MBA in Sustainable Innovation, have supported environmental causes for 17+ years, and am an amateur crafting enthusiast driven to create, repair, reimagine and upcycle items I have access to. I have a special interest in the sustainability and prosperity of our organization because I believe in the important role that SUPPLY Victoria can play in a future world with less waste. As such, I am keen to progress action items in the Fundraising and Governance committees to support the development of a strong foundation in the early years of our thriving non-profit. I am looking forward to working with the bright minds on this page to craft a better tomorrow.

Caitlin McGuire
She/her
Hi! I’m Caitlin and I am proud to support Supply’s important work in our community. I am a parent of three small children with over 15 years experience working and volunteering within local, provincial, and federal government organizations, largely focusing on health emergency management and gender equity. I hold a Masters degree in Public Administration.
When my hands are free, I love to experiment with watercolour paints and ink, and nurture beauty in my garden.

Heather Lake
She/Her
Hello, I'm Heather, and I’m excited about what Supply is up to. I’m a retired professional with 30 years of experience in Sustainability, Triple Bottom Line Decision making, and Indigenous Relations at a Crown Corporation. These days I spend time making ceramics in my pottery studio, as well as doing willow basketry, sewing and the occasional watercolour. I’m thrilled to have the chance to contribute to a grassroots organization that cherishes the sacred value of the natural world and the transformative power of the arts, promoting more sustainable living here in Victoria. My hope is to help through contributing to improved strategic planning, targeted and successful fundraising and succinct and clear governance structures.
-
Mairead Mathews
She/her
Hi! I’m Mairead. I’m a researcher and policy analyst who loves community, crafting, art, sustainability, and finding new life for second hand goods. I’m presently the Manager of Digital Policy for an organization called the Information and Communications Technology Council and have previously held roles with the Parliament of Canada and several small, environmental not-for-profits. I’m eager to apply what I’ve learned from my experiences in the public and not-for-profit sectors to an organization whose mission and purpose I am rooting for!

Sarah Fallavollita
She/her
I am a long time lover of sustainability and have a background in sustainable clothing & textiles as well as a BBA specializing in Sustainability. Have spent time volunteering for a few different organizations focusing on sustainability within the fashion industry and have worked in several small Canadian slow fashion companies including Poppy Barley and SALT Shop here in Victoria. I like to sew and mend with much of my inspiration coming from upcycling and waste reduction concepts. I believe waste reduction as well as production/consumption as a whole are hugely important issues that need to be addressed with the reality of climate disaster at our doorstep. I'm honored to work with SUPPLY as a General Board member on several of our committees, working towards making a better community and planet for us all!
-
Lindy Marks
Hey, I'm Lindy! I'm a researcher and public servant who is slowly recognizing my own capacity for creativity while beginning to dabble in ceramics and fibre arts.
I believe that art and creative practices have the potential to open up pathways to justice, and I'm excited to contribute to the work SUPPLY does to increase access to creative materials and resources while striving for a more sustainable and inclusive Victoria.
