DESCRIPTION

This is a super rare find of an exhibition catalogue of artist, Jack Wise, who was a Canadian Postwar & Contemporary artist born in 1928. Heavily influenced by teaching positions including the development of a craft industry amongst the native Indians in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, his time homesteading in BC, exposure to Asian art techniques in his travels to a Zen Buddhist monastery in Japan, to Delhi, and to Tibetan refugee camps in Northern India, Wise spent his final years on Denman Island before he passed way in 1996.
